Simple Full Color LCD Screen Test

screen test The easiest way to locate bad or stuck pixels on an LCD screen is to display a solid color across the entire display. In a rush to test a particular display, I put together a set of exceedingly simple web pages. This test probably has no merit for conventional CRT displays, however it is very useful for LCD laptop (in my case iBook, PowerBook, MacBook and MacBook Pro) screens.

This is test allows you to perform a screen test within your web browser using 100% saturated base colors: WHITE, RED, GREEN, BLUE, CYAN, YELLOW, MAGENTA, and BLACK.

To maximize the display area, hide the address bar, status bar and bookmark bar. Then resize this window to cover entire screen. Simply click here for the initial white page, or select a color from the navigation sample in the image above.
